A MATTER OF REFLECTION
Life is a matter of reflection. Everything is a matter of reflection. All matter is reflection.
The word photography comes from "light" and "drawing" - to draw with light. Light reveals matter to me. My eye compels me to unveil this reflected matter that resonates within. Such reflections make me wonder, as they sculpt my whole being, heart, spirit, soul and body – they bring me into focus.
Photography captures a slice of life, the present sliding from future to past, the present that never stands still. I pass on a moment, a reflection, a thought that has touched me. Such is poetry.
Every image is there to initiate a movement towards you, a sound, a sensation, a word. A conversation will follow and you will own it as its author. And every conversation will be different and unique - to each his reflections and thoughts.
Sensitive Chaos
The creation of form in living substance is only thinkable if at one and the same place in space manifold movements can flow into, over and through one another. The fluid element is thus a most suitable medium for the form-creating process, which would be impossible in the three dimensional world of solids, where there is only exclusiveness and no interpenetration. Nature here reveals one of her secrets, showing how movements are indeed by their very nature “super-spatial”.
It is possible for water to create forms out of the interplay of various forces or directions of movement. This is a principle which plays a great part in all embryonic processes. The fluid element contains moving, formative processes akin to those which living beings use to form their bodies.
